In collaboration with Ryne Production, Sophia Leang is going to be directing a DV comedy short set in the 1980's titled, Peeled Grapes, written by Ryan Watt.

Peeled Grapes is a few hours in the life of Sam, whose birthday happens to fall on Halloween. Every year Sam's Mom plans a Halloween-themed party for him and his friends. Her over the top celebrations are everyone's favorite, except for one important person-Sam. This year Sam wants a regular party. His Mom, however has very different ideas. Joined by a hyperactive, chocolate-craving little sister, a Dad too soft spoken for his own good, and a room full of party guests, Sam's birthday is about to become quite an experience for everyone involved.

The production for Peeled Grapes is March 31st and April 1st in Bronx, New York City. Stay tuned for release date.
